Still unwilling or unable to admit that they were “psyched out” by Barack Obama and his corporate handlers, Lefties search for psychological reasons that the First Black President has been such a disappointment. It’s the failure to fight thing, or the lack of vision thing, or the failure to communicate thing, they say. “It isn’t that Obama has trouble conveying his vision, it’s that his actual vision is unacceptable to progressives.” As for his willingness to fight, Obama fought his own left wing, and “stomped their butts into the dirt” over his corporate health care plan.

This moron Glen Ford, does not speak for me, and I am pretty damn sure he does not speak for Black America. He does speak for all the "house niggers" who somehow expected the state of the Black American citizen to magically change the second POTUS Obama took the oath of office. 

Progressives?? The following comes from Wikipedia.org : Progressivism is a political attitude favoring or advocating changes or reform through governmental action. Progressivism is often viewed in opposition to conservative or reactionary ideologies. The Progressive Movement began in cities with settlement workers and reformers who were interested in helping those facing harsh conditions at home and at work. The reformers spoke out about the need for laws regulating tenement housing and child labor. They also called for better working conditions for women. Some of the more notable progressive members of Congress have included Ted Kennedy, Russ Feingold, Dennis Kucinich, Barney Frank, Bernie Sanders, Al Franken, John Conyers, John Lewis,Nancy Pelosi and Paul Wellstone.

Tell me something, is Wall Street, Student Loan, and Health Care Reform not considered progressive by the very definition listed above? Let me see...if we the American people do not bail out Wall Street, or the automotive industry, what happens to all those jobs lost if those industries fail? If I am not mistaken, GM just posted earning it's highest quarterly earnings in double digit years, not to mention Wall Street AND the automotive industry repaid the loan bailout with interests.

It absolutely galls my ass to see Black Americans acting like a bunch of scalded dogs in how they receive and support this POTUS. They are just as bad if not worse than the racists caucasians who are anti Obama because he has a tan. A permanent tan. 

Then there's the "he is not fighting enough" bull shit excuse to criticize him. Why should the POTUS have to fight anyone? POTUS Obama is a diplomat, not a street thug. His job is NOT to fight anyone, his job is to take care of all of America.Not the Green part or the White part, or the Black part or the purple part but ALL Parts.

Black Americans who criticize this POTUS disgust me, yes disgust me. For the first time ever, we people of color have one of our own in power, and he has NO\T abused that power. Words: Nigger ~vs~ Niggah. Is Either Ever Acceptable?

This is a very interesting topic for many Black Americans, whether the use of the word nigger/niggah is ever appropriate or acceptable. There are many opinions and thoughts on this subject, and I will offer you something to ponder and then you can formulate your own idea about the word. 


Nigger is a noun in the English language, most notable for its usage in a pejorative context to refer to black people (generally people of Sub-Saharan African descent), and also as an informal slang term, among other contexts. It is a common ethnic slur. The word originated as a term used in a neutral context to refer to black people, as a variation of the Spanish/Portuguesenoun negro, a descendant of the Latin adjective niger, meaning the color "black".


Nigga is a term used in African American Vernacular English that began as an eye dialect form of the word nigger. In practice, its use and meaning are heavily dependent on context.^[5] Presently, the word nigga is used more liberally among younger members^[6] of all races andethnicities in the United States, although its use by persons not of African descent is still widely viewed as unacceptable and hostile, even when used without intentional prejudice. In addition to African Americans, other ethnic groups^[7][8] have adopted the term as part of their vernacular.


 Now the definition of this word is listed above for all to see, but my question today is...should this word ever be used? Is it ever acceptable or appropriate? I have been hearing debate for and against the use of the word nigger/niggah for years. So here's my take on this word.


It is simply that, a word. It has no power. None whatsoever, at all. The only way this word becomes dangerous is when WE assign the word power. Over the past 40 years, I have witnessed Black Americans take this negative racial slur and transform it into something with a very different meaning, than what the racists caucasian intended. It is, and was, used by racists caucasians to mean everything negative and wrong with a human being. To be labeled a nigger was the final insult. The ultimate degradation. 


Fast forward to the middle 70's, and a young Richard Pryor's use of the word in his comedy routine. Then the sub culture known as the rap scene, later to be called the hip hop culture. In the space of 40 years time, Black Americans have taken this bad word and flipped the script. It is now, among some groups of Black Americans, a word of greeting and warmth and camaraderie. And this angers a whole lot of Black Americans. I have to ask why does it anger us so? We as a people, took the proverbial "lemons, and turned them into lemonade". 


Caucasians did the exact same thing with the derogatory word "redneck". Because of comedian Jeff Foxworthy, the term/word redneck is no longer a thing of contention or negativity. Many caucasians are proud to be called a redneck, because of that word being transformed.


I am informed that other Black people in other parts of the world have no use for the word nigger/niggah, and have no plans to embrace the usage of the word in any form. That is their preoperative. There are many things American culture does, and  practice, that is not practiced worldwide. It means nothing to Americans that the transformation of nigger/niggah from insulting to inspiring, is not accepted in other parts of the world.


The word nigger, which means many things but can be said to describe someone who is lazy, dishonest, untrustworthy, has no morals, is a very dangerous and evil person, can describe anyone of any race, creed, color, or cultural heritage. Absolutely any human has the ability to be a nigger, based on his or her actions and character. So assigning the word nigger/niggah the power to be derogatory to Black Americans, should be over and done. 


Racists caucasians detest the fact we Black Americans have taken their word of hate and evilness and turned it around, to mean something totally opposite. A lot like the usage of the word bad...which today can mean actually something bad, or the total opposite, something good.
Yes, I understand there will be many who say this word is evil, vile, and nasty and should never be used. I disagree. Black Americans have taken something negative, and turned it into a positive in OUR community. Just like taking table scraps as slaves, from the white slave owners,...and creating soul food!

Airport Security: Body Scan Or Body Bag?

Airport Security: Body Scanner Or Body Bag Is Explained Below.........

It appears that there is some confusion/discussion/debate over this issue of having to walk through a body scanning machine in order to board a flight at the airports. From what I read, you either walk through the body scanner, or you have the option for a body "pat down", and the moaning and groaning is that both of these new security measures are violating civil rights, and personal civil liberties. Some are even going as far to say it is sexual harassment, saying the "wand" that has been used in the past should be sufficient.


I am not an airport security specialists, but I have flown frequently in airports before 911, and after 911. It does takes longer for the entire flight process, there are many new hoops to jump through. The thing to ponder is this...would you rather walk through the body scanner or be placed into a body bag? That question brings us straight to the heart of the matter. Pure and simple. Airport Security that is technologically advanced or death?


Yes, it is a new system, and has to have all the bugs removed, and that takes time. I personally would love to have some TSA agent's warm hands touching my personal private's rather than a morgue attendant's cold hands trying to locate body parts to reassemble after an airplane I was a passenger on was disintegrated by a bomb blast. But that's just me. So ask yourself, do you want your children, your family members, or your spouse/girlfriend/boyfriend/lover, traveling across this planet, without the latest up to date technology protecting them? Just so you can have some false sense of your civil liberties still intact?


Both, the "Pat Down" and the Body Scanning Machine are a lot to ask us "in a hurry, no time to die" Americans. I understand getting to Aunt Lucy's humble abode is earth shattering, and leaving early enough to do the whole airport security thing never occurred to you. 


So tell me, what would  your last thoughts be, as you are seated on a hijacked aircraft, 15 terrorists mulling around with automatic weapons, bombs strategically placed throughout the aircraft, all brought on board by passengers NOT scanned or hand checked? Think you'd be bitching and screaming about civil liberties? Think you'd be concerned about how the Nazi's started out this very same way by taking away freedoms from the Jewish people? (Yes, I had some idiot use that very same analogy to me two days ago)


Here's what I say, and I say it Proudly & Loudly. POTUS Obama is doing everything possible and needed, to protect ALL people who travel to and from the United States Of America. BUT because POTUS Obama is the person doing the protection, planning and backing of these efforts to protect us, it gets criticized. No surprise there. Here is what does surprise me...America is stupid. Again.
911 taught us this if nothing else....people hate us, want to kill us, and have the capability to do just that.


How do we respond? We secure and protect ourselves. If that means I get patted down by TSA agents, or walk through a body scanner, or have to leave home an hour earlier...so fucking what??
I arrive at my destination a little late, or a little touched in private places, or someone gets to see my body on a scanner monitor. But guess what? I arrive ALIVE!!!

Here's just a short list of some of the bills that Republicans have blocked, or attempted to block, since Obama became President:

Tax on Companies that ship jobs overseas- A bill that would have eliminated a tax break that companies get when they ship jobs overseas. Republicans blocked this, allowing companies to keep the tax break they receive when they ship jobs to other countries.

Political Ad disclosure bill- Would have required all donors to political campaigns to reveal themselves. Republicans blocked this, not once but twice.

Subpoena Power for the Committee investigating the BP Oil Spill – Give subpoena power to the independent committee responsible for investigating BP’s roll in the oil spill. Republicans attempted to block this.

The Small Business Jobs Act -would give LOCAL, community banks access to billions of dollars to loan to small businesses. Republicans blocked this, then attempted to block it a second time and failed.

The DREAM Act- Gives immigrant youth who were brought here as children a path to citizenship by earning a college degree or serving the military for 2 years. Republicans blocked this.

Repeal of “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell”- Would have repealed the law that forces gay and lesbian services members to lie about their sexuality and gives the military the right to discharge soldiers based on their sexuality. Republicans blocked this.

From Crooks and Liars - When John McCain led the filibuster of the Defense Appropriations Act yesterday, he blocked far more than the DREAM Act and repeal of DADT. Here are just a few of the other blocked provisions, courtesy of Mother Jones.

• No permanent military bases in Afghanistan.
• Report identifying hybrid or electric propulsion systems and other fuel-saving technologies for incorporation into tactical motor vehicles.
• Protection of child custody arrangements for parents who are members of the Armed Forces deployed in support of a contingency operation.
• Improvements to Department of Defense domestic violence programs.
• Department of Defense recognition of spouses of members of the Armed Forces.
• Department of Defense recognition of children of members of the Armed Forces.
• Enhancements to the Troops-to-Teachers Program.
• Fiscal year 2011 increase in military basic pay.
• Improving aural protection for members of the Armed Forces.
• Comprehensive policy on neurocognitive assessment by the military health care system.
• Authority to make excess nonlethal supplies available for domestic emergency assistance.

And those were just some of the progressive provisions. On the conservative side, there are these, and more:

• Prohibition on the use of funds for the transfer or release of individuals detained at United States Naval Station, Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.
• Prohibition on the use of funds to modify or construct facilities in the United States to house detainees transferred from United States Naval Station, Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.
• Prohibition on use of funds to give Miranda warnings to Al Qaeda terrorists.

And here's the bills that Republicans had blocked when we compiled our first list;

Senator Franken’s Anti-Rape Amendment to the Defense Appropriations Bill - Makes it so that women raped overseas while working for foreign contractors have the right to have their case heard in an American court instead of having their case mediated by the company they work for. Only Republican men voted against this, but it passed.

Benefits for Homeless Veterans- Would have expanded benefits to homeless veterans and homeless veterans with children. Republicans blocked this.

Affordable Health Care For America Act- Prevents insurance companies from discriminating against you on the basis of "pre-existing conditions". Requires that insurance companies spend 85 cents of every dollar that you pay on your actual health care. Limits health insurance companies profit margins. Republicans blocked this for months before it finally passed and have vowed to repeal it if they are elected.

Health Care for the 9/11 First Responders who got sick from being at Ground Zero- Would provide billions of dollars in health care to help the 9/11 First Responders who were at Ground Zero on 9/11 and are now sick because of it. Republicans blocked this.

The Jobs Bill- Offsets the payroll tax for 1 year for companies that hire new employees, or people receiving unemployment insurance. Also gives other tax incentives to companies hiring new employees. Republicans attempted to block this. 

Wall Street Reform- Puts stricter regulations on the banks, preventing them from becoming "too big to fail". Curbs reckless spending practices that caused the banking crisis. Republicans attempted to block this.

American Recovery and Reinvestment Act- Pumped billions of dollars into state and local Governments to prevent us from sinking into a second Great Depression. Republicans opposed this but now want to take credit for the parts of it that we know are successful.

Oil Spill Liability- Raises the liability on what companies can be made to pay to clean up after an oil spill. Republicans blocked this.

Immigration Reform- Republican suggested comprehensive immigration reform until Obama supported it. Now they're rabidly opposed to it and even voted against their own legislation. Republicans blocked this.

Unemployment extension bill HR-4213- Would provide additional aid to the millions of Americans still on unemployment who are just trying to support themselves and their families. Republicans blocked this bill for 8 weeks before it finally passed. Republicans blocked this for 8 weeks before it finally passed.

Fair Pay Act of 2009- Also called the Lily Ledbetter bill. Requires that women receive equal compensation to men for doing the same work. Republicans attempted to block this.

The next time someone tells you that the Republicans care about the American people just give them this list of all the bill Republicans wanted to fail.

11 Democrat who voted Against the Unemployment Extension!!  
Seven of them were defeated in the election. 
Another one of them is retiring. 
They had nothing to lose. 
So they voted against helping the people. 

They are:
1. Allen Boyd (FL 2nd)
2. Bobby Bright (Alabama 2nd)
3. Lincoln Davis (TN 5th)
4. Baron Hill (Indiana 9th)
5. Walt Minnick (Idaho 1st)
6. Glen Nye (VA 2nd)
7. Gene Taylor (Mississippi 4th)
8. Marion Berry (Arkansas 1st) Retiring Good riddance. 

The remaining three of them were re-elected, they are:
1. Jim Cooper (TN 5th)
2. Collin Peterson (Minnesota 7th)
3. Heath Shuler (NC 11th)
These should also join the ranks of the ousted in 2012.


Democrats Have got to learn to stick together, or this Party is doomed. How can you in good conscience vote to not take care of Americans, the very same Americans who vote for your ass to be elected to public office?


America is doomed to implode if We The people do not stop this insanity of electing selfish ignorant politicians to office. The unemployed need unemployment insurance. Here's a suggestion to the american citizen....stop paying these wealthy politicians a pension, or giving them budgets while in office, and cut their staffing budgets in half, then lets see if they will start working for the very folks who vote them INTO office.

Common Sense Says.......
The Palin's......Stupid Sarah Palin has made it publicly known she wants to be POTUS. And as an American, she has every right to aspire to the highest office of the land. Question is, does Stupid Sarah Palin have the qualifications to BE POTUS? She has no knowledge of United States Constitutional Law, no concept of governmental procedures, no intelligence on foreign policy, no geographical intelligence, two years experience as a Governor, not to mention she lacks a public image that would be beneficial to The United States abroad. 


Stupid Sarah Palin has one daughter, Bristol, who was an unwed single teenage parent and is now involved in a cheating scandal on a popular TV celebrity dance show (DWTS). Another daughter, Willow, who is rumored to also be pregnant at age 16, and involved in a FB scandal in which she uses derogatory names to describe homosexual males.
Common Sense Says...........if Stupid Sarah Palin is unable to manage her family/household, how can she manage the White House or The United States Of America?

The Democratic Party is in trouble. One thing I learned from the Mid Term Elections was this, the RepubliCANTS/teabaggers are better organized and more focused on their one common goal,,,to remove "that nigger" from the White House. We, The Democratic Party, are fighting amongst ourselves, we can't get a common consensus on issues, we are selling out on major laws and bills, and we have no visible leadership. Tim Kaine is the DNC Chairman, and he is invisible. The Democrats should have been out front in the months leading up to these Mid Terms, promoting, marketing, and singing the praises of this POTUS and His administration. Just like the RepubliCANTS/teabaggers. They were so well organized spreading lies and misinformation, why were The Democrats nowhere to be found spreading the Facts & Truth??
  
America appears to be like a small child, who only remembers the last thing it hears before falling off to sleep at night. The last thing America should have heard on Monday the 1st of "NO"vember, was the success and the accomplishments of POTUS Obama, and all the BAD promises the RepubliCANTS/teabaggers were promising to implement if elected. Instead, all we Democrats heard crickets.

I don't understand Americans voting for a party who tells you up front, months before an election, that their party (RepubliCANTS/teabaggers) plans to strip you, (The American Voter), of your way to survival. The RepubliCANTS/teabaggers threatened to abolish vital social services, remove U.S. Government offices, and cut unemployment insurance benefits, which would erase jobs and increase poverty nation wide. BUT Americans still voted for the RepubliCANTS/teabaggers because they represented the "white vote". 


Aw hell, we'd rather be poor, broke, destitute and unemployed as long all that happens in a "white man's" world,....right?? Lets bankrupt America, strip her of American jobs by out sourcing them over seas, and why not kill the entire planet, (by ignoring Global warming), we can blame that on the "nigger" in the White House as well. Lets repeal a working Health Care Plan that covers ALL Americans, many who are covered for the very first time, in favor of no viable replacement plan because that "nigger" came up with the good plan...and we just can't allow that shit now can we??

We The people need to remove American politics from the greedy money grubbing hands of corporations and take back our control of America. We need to return to an America where elections were not bought by the richest candidate or by the biggest corporate sponsor. 
Democrats, we have 15 months until the Iowa Caucuses....we have much work to do.

The way I see this political climate is simple. You're either against POTUS Obama because he is a Black American, or you are in the top 3% of Americans who are wealthy and stand to not rake in as many millions of dollars when his agenda is fully established. The latter reason is pure greed, I mean how many millions can one man spend in a lifetime?
If you are among the many Americans who just can't force themselves to vote for a Black American for POTUS and would rather elect politicians who do NOT have your best interests in mind.....well, not much pity is going to be forthcoming to you from anyone who is sane.
Let's get back to the top 3%, those who "think" they run America.


Mr. George Soros, who is quoted by Huffington Post (The official closet RepubliCANT/teabagger publication), as saying this wonderful thought...."George Soros Tells Progressive Donors Obama Might Not Be The Best Investment". Now you'd have to understand that Ms. Huffington, Mr. Soros, Mr. Newt Gingrich and other top politicians, journalists & money men are all buddy buddy. They vacation together, and run in the same circles on a social basis. So it should come as NO shock to anyone that they are actually against Americans having the right to choose it's elected officials the old fashioned way.... going to the polls and VOTING.


The men/women who imagine themselves as king makers in the mode of a Joe Kennedy, or a Mayor Richard J. Daley, (who did their back room deals to elect politicians in real back smoke filled rooms), are no more, long gone. Today's wanna be king makers are steeped in legal maneuvers and slinging ca$h at anyone who is simple minded enough to think a corporation or multi-millionaire has a real American's concern foremost in their minds. We as Americans who vote, pay actual taxes in line with our earnings, work and live in our communities, struggle daily to make ends meet,...we REAL Americans, have to STOP the few millionaires/billionaires from taking control of American Politics.


This POTUS is a Black American, and he is not being judged on his policies, or his politics or his agenda for America, he is being judged on his skin color and how harmful he is to the pocketbooks of millionaires/billionaires and elitists corporations. The SCJOTUS voted to make corporations people, they got that one very wrong, makes me think the SCOTUS is very slanted toward money. Now the corporations have openly campaigned against anything Democratic, spending millions in the last Mid Terms, to get "their" politics/politicians elected. The Democratic Party National leadership has been asleep for years....time for the Rip Van Winkle nap to be over.


Supporting laws, bills, agendas and ideas/thoughts that help ALL Americans is what we have to do. It is criminal to deny every American health care coverage. It is criminal to deny our men/women who serve in the United States Military, their basic human/American right to be of whatever sexual orientation they choose. It is criminal to remove the social services systems that have been in place assisting millions of Americans who depend on them daily, unless you have viable, working replacement programs in place first. Makes sense???


Three solutions to these current problems.


1). Remove the almighty power of the corporate elitists by researching, investigating, and becoming informed about every politician running for public elected office. Your vote is crucial, and it is vital you make votes based on what is important to you. Do not follow hosts of TV/Radio shows, out to boost their ratings, and in turn make themselves wealthy. 
DO NOT listen to others tell you who to vote for...learn for yourself who is working for Americans benefit.


2). Work for your political choices. Get involved. Get your ass up off the couch, make a difference. Learn what your selected candidate for an office is all about, research their ideas and opinions then work hard for them to be elected.


3). This is the most important.....Be Informed. Do Not watch Faux Spews, MSNBC, CNN, ABC, CBS, NBC, HLN or the Huffington Post, and do not read newspapers or web site news organizations as your only source of information. The internet age offers us Americans hundreds or thousands of different news options. But you must get out there and find them. It is very easy to watch/read the usual stuff, but think about why it is so easy? Do you believe everything you are spoon fed by the usual media outlets? Trust no media publication until you know they are trustworthy. Get the Facts & Truth.

Health Care Reform Law. So many don't have a clue as to what this law is all about. Now there are several publications out there to assist you in learning exactly what this new law means, and what effect it will have on YOU. Here's a tip....you do not have to admire and support POTUS Barack Hussein Obama, this Health Care Reform is for ALL Americans, not just those who voted for POTUS Obama. Amazon.com has a book, real cheap, that can/will/may help you ("America's New Health-Care Law and What It Means for Us All." Amazon.com ). There are several web sites devoted to educating you on Health Care Reform. Get informed people, dig, research, investigate, find out the FACTS & TRUTH for yourself. Please, do not listen to the Limbaugh's and Beck's and Palin's , who have an agenda. Find a publication or an informed source and get the right information,. It is NOT a perfect piece pf legislation, not yet, but it helps an estimated 40 million Americans, who had no health care coverage. AND it does away with the dreaded "pre-existing condition" bull shit. Think for yourself.....use the common sense God, or 
whomever/whatever you believe in, gave you. Common Sense Says...... this is wrong.

If you voted RepubliCANT/teabagger on Tuesday, the Second of "NO"vember,  thinking you would vote against that "nigger in the White House", I got some bad news for you. Besides voting against "that nigger in the White House", you also voted against The Social Security System, The Department Of Education, Unemployment Insurance, The Environmental Protection Agency (E.P.A),  The Internal Revenue Agency (I.R.S.), All Welfare Programs including the Food Stamp program, Women Infants, Children (W.I.C.), Medicaid/Medicare, Temporary Assistance For Needy families (T.A.N.F)....NOT to mention all the jobs that will be wiped out when these programs are abolished. See, each program employs Americans. Thats right, Americans will lose jobs when the RepubliCANTS/teabaggers remove all these programs. That should help boost the economy, the job market and reduce the unemployment levels in America. Common Sense Says...... this is wrong.

Let's take a stroll down memory lane shall we? I will remind us all of the numerous false/fake/made up non-issues that have plagued this Administration since January of 2009. There was the Birth Certificate (Birther) fiasco, created to take attention away from the running of the government. There was the "Religion Concerns" that really ain't nobody's damn business, that were created to draw attention away from the real issues of the day. There was the "Ground Zero Mosque" clusterfuck, that was manufactured to do what? Thats right....draw attention away from things like tax cuts, bills passed into law that benefited ALL Americans. Not to mention Qur'an burnings, uproars over vacations taken to where, what the FLOTUS was wearing. Now we come to the latest uproar, started of course by the talking air heads of the Reich wing: The trip to the Asian Rim and to the G-20 Summit. Lies and misinformation started by the Becks/Limbaugh's and O'Reilly's of the world, have stated this trip cost as little as 200 million a DAY to as much as 2 billion a day.
Yes, you read that correctly. How can a state sponsored trip to the middle and far east, cost the American taxpayers more than the daily cost of the war in Afghanistan? Started by none other than George Dubbya Bush? AND Why are the Presidential travel plans of so much concern when the First Black American is POTUS BUT...nobody gave a damn how or where George Dubbya Bush traveled, or any of the past 43 caucasian POTUS??? Mmmm....here comes that racism card again. Ok, I'm done....but Common Sense Says........this is wrong.
