Last night, POTUS Obama compromised with the RepubliCANTS/teabaggers on the Bush Tax Cuts, so he could secure 13 months of unemployment benefits for the Millions of unemployed Americans.

I would have been willing to ride this one out if President Obama had stuck to his pledge to end the tax cuts for America's top 2 percent of the wealthiest. That is what I wanted him to do.   I'm not willing to see 2 million Americans who stand to lose their unemployment insurance at the end of this month be put in a situation where they might lose their home or their car or suffer some additional economic catastrophe.

  So, sympathetic as I am to those who prefer a fight over compromise, as much as the political wisdom may dictate fighting over solving problems, it would be the wrong thing to do.  The American people didn’t send us here to wage symbolic battles or win symbolic victories.  They would much rather have the comfort of knowing that when they open their first paycheck on January of 2011, it won’t be smaller than it was before, all because Washington decided they preferred to have a fight and failed to act.

  
  

  Do you Americans understand what you just read above? POTUS Obama was more concerned with securing 13 months of unemployment insurance benefits for MILLIONS of out of work Americans, rather than play a political game of tug of war with the selfish RepubliCANTS/teabaggers. POTUS Obama put the future of his re-election in doubt by angering

THE PRESIDENT:  Hello, everybody.  Sorry to keep you waiting. 

For the past few weeks there’s been a lot of talk around Washington about taxes and there’s been a lot of political positioning between the two parties.  But around kitchen tables, Americans are asking just one question:  Are we going to allow their taxes to go up on January 1st, or will we meet our responsibilities to resolve our differences and do what’s necessary to speed up the recovery and get people back to work?

Now, there’s no doubt that the differences between the parties are real and they are profound.  Ever since I started running for this office I've said that we should only extend the tax cuts for the middle class.  These are the Americans who’ve taken the biggest hit not only from this recession but from nearly a decade of costs that have gone up while their paychecks have not.  It would be a grave injustice to let taxes increase for these Americans right now.  And it would deal a serious blow to our economic recovery.

Now, Republicans have a different view.  They believe that we should also make permanent the tax cuts for the wealthiest 2 percent of Americans.  I completely disagree with this.  A permanent extension of these tax cuts would cost us $700 billion at a time when we need to start focusing on bringing down our deficit.  And economists from all across the political spectrum agree that giving tax cuts to millionaires and billionaires does very little to actually grow our economy. 

This is where the debate has stood for the last couple of weeks.  And what is abundantly clear to everyone in this town is that Republicans will block a permanent tax cut for the middle class unless they also get a permanent tax cut for the wealthiest Americans, regardless of the cost or impact on the deficit.

We saw that in two different votes in the Senate that were taken this weekend.  And without a willingness to give on both sides, there’s no reason to believe that this stalemate won't continue well into next year.  This would be a chilling prospect for the American people whose taxes are currently scheduled to go up on January 1st because of arrangements that were made back in 2001 and 2003 under the Bush tax cuts.

I am not willing to let that happen.  I know there’s some people in my own party and in the other party who would rather prolong this battle, even if we can't reach a compromise.  But I'm not willing to let working families across this country become collateral damage for political warfare here in Washington.  And I'm not willing to let our economy slip backwards just as we're pulling ourselves out of this devastating recession.

I'm not willing to see 2 million Americans who stand to lose their unemployment insurance at the end of this month be put in a situation where they might lose their home or their car or suffer some additional economic catastrophe.

So, sympathetic as I am to those who prefer a fight over compromise, as much as the political wisdom may dictate fighting over solving problems, it would be the wrong thing to do.  The American people didn’t send us here to wage symbolic battles or win symbolic victories.  They would much rather have the comfort of knowing that when they open their first paycheck on January of 2011, it won’t be smaller than it was before, all because Washington decided they preferred to have a fight and failed to act.

Make no mistake:  Allowing taxes to go up on all Americans would have raised taxes by $3,000 for a typical American family. And that could cost our economy well over a million jobs.

At the same time, I’m not about to add $700 billion to our deficit by allowing a permanent extension of the tax cuts for the wealthiest Americans.  And I won’t allow any extension of these tax cuts for the wealthy, even a temporary one, without also extending unemployment insurance for Americans who’ve lost their jobs or additional tax cuts for working families and small businesses -- because if Republicans truly believe we shouldn’t raise taxes on anyone while our economy is still recovering from the recession, then surely we shouldn’t cut taxes for wealthy people while letting them rise on parents and students and small businesses.

As a result, we have arrived at a framework for a bipartisan agreement.  For the next two years, every American family will keep their tax cuts -- not just the Bush tax cuts, but those that have been put in place over the last couple of years that are helping parents and students and other folks manage their bills.

In exchange for a temporary extension of the tax cuts for the wealthiest Americans, we will be able to protect key tax cuts for working families -- the Earned Income Tax Credit that helps families climb out of poverty; the Child Tax Credit that makes sure families don’t see their taxes jump up to $1,000 for every child; and the American Opportunity Tax Credit that ensures over 8 million students and their families don’t suddenly see the cost of college shooting up.

These are the tax cuts for some of the folks who’ve been hit hardest by this recession, and it would be simply unacceptable if their taxes went up while everybody else’s stayed the same.

Now, under this agreement, unemployment insurance will also be extended for another 13 months, which will be welcome relief for 2 million Americans who are facing the prospect of having this lifeline yanked away from them right in the middle of the holiday season.

This agreement would also mean a 2 percent employee payroll tax cut for workers next year -- a tax cut that economists across the political spectrum agree is one of the most powerful things we can do to create jobs and boost economic growth.

And we will prevent -- we will provide incentives for businesses to invest and create jobs by allowing them to completely write off their investments next year.  This is something identified back in September as a way to help American businesses create jobs.  And thanks to this compromise, it’s finally going to get done.

In exchange, the Republicans have asked for more generous treatment of the estate tax than I think is wise or warranted.  But we have insisted that that will be temporary.

I have no doubt that everyone will find something in this compromise that they don’t like.  In fact, there are things in here that I don’t like -- namely the extension of the tax cuts for the wealthiest Americans and the wealthiest estates.  But these tax cuts will expire in two years.  And I’m confident that as we make tough choices about bringing our deficit down, as I engage in a conversation with the American people about the hard choices we’re going to have to make to secure our future and our children’s future and our grandchildren’s future, it will become apparent that we cannot afford to extend those tax cuts any longer.

As for now, I believe this bipartisan plan is the right thing to do.  It’s the right thing to do for jobs.  It’s the right thing to do for the middle class.  It is the right thing to do for business.  And it’s the right thing to do for our economy. It offers us an opportunity that we need to seize.

It’s not perfect, but this compromise is an essential step on the road to recovery.  It will stop middle-class taxes from going up.  It will spur our private sector to create millions of new jobs, and add momentum that our economy badly needs.

Building on that momentum is what I’m focused on.  It’s what members of Congress should be focused on.  And I'm looking forward to working with members of both parties in the coming days to see to it that we get this done before everyone leaves town for the holiday season.  We cannot allow this moment to pass.

And let me just end with this.  There’s been a lot of debate in Washington about how this would ultimately get resolved.  I just want everybody to remember over the course of the coming days, both Democrats and Republicans, that these are not abstract fights for the families that are impacted.  Two million people will lose their unemployment insurance at the end of this month if we don't get this resolved.  Millions more of Americans will see their taxes go up at a time when they can least afford it.  And my singular focus over the next year is going to be on how do we continue the momentum of the recovery, how do we make sure that we grow this economy and we create more jobs.  

We cannot play politics at a time when the American people are looking for us to solve problems.  And so I look forward to engaging the House and the Senate, members of both parties, as well as the media, in this debate.  But I am confident that this needs to get done, and I'm confident ultimately Congress is going to do the right thing.

I've said this before and I'm going to sat it again, right now. POTUS Obama, his Presidential legacy and his administration are not going to be stained by the national debt. When you look back, years from now, and think of the POTUS and what he accomplished and how he handled the adversity of being this Nations First Black American President, what will you remember?


That glorious election night in Grant Park, Chicago? The joy and elation felt at realizing you were a part of history? That good feeling of how America had suddenly risen above petty racial judgments?
Where has all that "good feeling" gone?


For Us Americans who are intelligent, critical thinkers, who use common sense and logic, the feeling of having voted for the right candidate has gone nowhere at all!! For the rest of you....that feeling was fake. You never wanted this man as POTUS. You are what I call a "fair weather fan". When the team is on a win streak, and hitting on all cylinders, you are right there with the rest of America.....cheering. Soon as two or three losses arrive, you abandon ship like a wet stinking rat.

 There are only four types of Americans who dislike POTUS Obama, and they are ..
1). Racists Caucasians whom can't stand a "nigger" in the White house, and will vote, even against their own best interests, to have Obama become a one term President.


2). Stupid Americans who would rather listen to Faux Spews and the likes of Beck, Limbaugh, Hannity, Coulter, and other RepubliCANTS/teabaggers with a corporate backed agenda, than research and investigate and get informed about what is going on in American politics,


3). Colored Negro's, aka 'house niggers", who think that backing the white folks candidate will further their own selfish needs.


4). Black Americans who consider themselves educated, well informed and on the cusp of politics. I call these Negro's the "Pseudo Intellectual Nigger". These are the worst traitors to the American political survival. They tell you they won't vote for Obama unless he does "X, Y, Z" their way. But the problem is deeper than their selfishness, it goes to the real issue of The Democratic Party, and it's lack of leadership.

I have said it again and i'll say it once more, The mid terms was NOT a victory for the RepubliCANTS/teabaggers as it was a lost for the Democratic Party. There was virtually no promotion or marketing during the campaign. No selling of the accomplishments of POTUS Obama or his administration. The Democratic Party failed us Democrats. Then there is the failure of the Democratic voters.

We as Democratic voters, were lazy and lackadaisical and stupid. That coupled with very absent leadership, lost us the mid terms. 

To the so called Democrats/Independents/Progressives/Liberals/Green Party members....POTUS Obama is a diplomat, a critical thinker who uses logic and common sense to gain his objective. He is not some in your face, bully, confrontational, my way or no way politician....if he were, that would make him a RepubliCANT/teabagger. I support POTUS Obama 300%, period. I voted for him to do a job, not for 2 years but for the entire 4 years of his first term.

To all you "Pseudo Intellectual Niggers", you disgust me, you are educated in book sense but intellectually bankrupt. This man is our leader, and we MUST support him.

Over the past few weeks I've listened to Progressives, Independents, RepubliCANTS/teabaggers and all those "other" Parties out there voicing their opinions, ideas, thoughts about this Great POTUS.
Some critics say "Obama's too soft". Some critics say "Obama's too hard line and too arrogant". Some critics say "Obama does not care about the poor/ middle class". Some critics say "Obama is in the pocket of big business". Other critics say "Obama is a Muslim". Others critics say "Separation of church and state". Still some critics say"Obama spend too much, he is the reason the deficit is huge".


Fact One:
OK, Listen up all you fools. Yes, I called you fools. POTUS Obama is the first and ONLY POTUS who has been handed the herculean task of balancing America's trillion dollar deficit. Thats right Folks....NO other United States President, and there have been 43 of them, has ever had his Presidency hinge on the American deficit like the racists caucasians who are ass deep in American politics have hinged the deficit to Barack Hussein Obama's Presidency. POTUS Obama walked into office in January, 2009 with a trillion dollar deficit already left this Great Nation by none other than George Dubbya Bush. This is issue number one I have with the racists caucasian RepubliCANTS/teabaggers. It took Dubbya 8 years to fuck America up...now the "white man" expects POTUS Obama to "fix" the deficit in 24 months.


Fact Two:
If POTUS Obama is indeed in the pocket of big business, explain the Wall Street Reform that big business fought tooth and nail to not have pass into law? Explain to me the reason why Banking reform in reference to mortgage and foreclosure laws are being fought to the death by the very same big business Obama is accused of bing in bed with? Health Care Reform is the nemesis of big business....so if this POTUS is FOR big business...why did he pass Health Care Reform?? This is issue number two I have with the racists caucasian RepubliCANTS/teabaggers. You van NOT be FOR big business and do every thing to benefit the little guy.


Fact Three:
I could give a rats ass if POTUS Obama prays to Buddha or Christ, or Allah, or Jehovah, or Zeus, or Dr. Seuss , or Appolonia from Purple Rain, as long as he gets the damn job done doing what benefits the greatest number of Americans. I voted for POTUS Obama to reform health care, reform student loans, reform wall street, reform how government works...which is what a true Progressive is supposed to be all about. SO...Obama's religious choices mean jack shit to me...and if I am not mistaken, being that this is America, he has the liberty to worship freely as he see's fit, according to the United States Constitution. This is issue number three I have with the racists caucasian RepubliCANTS/teabaggers. Is Obama a Muslim, I don't care.


Fact Four:
There seems to be some confusion as to whether POTUS Obama cares for the poor/middle class. No I don't see where this confusion originates from. The Man has given 35 million Americans Health Care Coverage for the very first time in their lives, with a health Care Reform Law that benefits ALL Americans. Has helped every student in America with a student loan outstanding by passing the Student Loan Reform Law, has cut taxes, the biggest tax cut in history, for ALL Americans already, and has a list of accomplishments way too long to list here.

America voted George Dubbya Bush, two 4 years terms to fuck America UP, Obama surly needs/deserves/MUST have, his two terms to clean up Dubbya's mess. Hell after 8 years of Dubbya, Obama should have 16 terms to bring America Forward.You mad about what POTUS Obama has yet to accomplish according to your personal agenda??? Then you should have gotten off your ass, went out to vote in record numbers this past mid term and we Democrats would be driving the bus.

Still unwilling or unable to admit that they were “psyched out” by Barack Obama and his corporate handlers, Lefties search for psychological reasons that the First Black President has been such a disappointment. It’s the failure to fight thing, or the lack of vision thing, or the failure to communicate thing, they say. “It isn’t that Obama has trouble conveying his vision, it’s that his actual vision is unacceptable to progressives.” As for his willingness to fight, Obama fought his own left wing, and “stomped their butts into the dirt” over his corporate health care plan.

This moron Glen Ford, does not speak for me, and I am pretty damn sure he does not speak for Black America. He does speak for all the "house niggers" who somehow expected the state of the Black American citizen to magically change the second POTUS Obama took the oath of office.

The Progressive Movement began in cities with settlement workers and reformers who were interested in helping those facing harsh conditions at home and at work. The reformers spoke out about the need for laws regulating tenement housing and child labor. They also called for better working conditions for women. Some of the more notable progressive members of Congress have included Ted Kennedy, Russ Feingold, Dennis Kucinich, Barney Frank, Bernie Sanders, Al Franken, John Conyers, John Lewis,Nancy Pelosi and Paul Wellstone.

Tell me something, is Wall Street, Student Loan, and Health Care Reform not considered progressive by the very definition listed above? Let me see...if we the American people do not bail out Wall Street, or the automotive industry, what happens to all those jobs lost if those industries fail? If I am not mistaken, GM just posted earning it's highest quarterly earnings in double digit years, not to mention Wall Street AND the automotive industry repaid the loan bailout with interests.

It absolutely galls my ass to see Black Americans acting like a bunch of scalded dogs in how they receive and support this POTUS. They are just as bad if not worse than the racists caucasians who are anti Obama because he has a tan. A permanent tan. 

Then there's the "he is not fighting enough" bull shit excuse to criticize him. Why should the POTUS have to fight anyone? POTUS Obama is a diplomat, not a street thug. His job is NOT to fight anyone, his job is to take care of all of America.Not the Green part or the White part, or the Black part or the purple part but ALL Parts.

Black Americans who criticize this POTUS disgust me, yes disgust me. For the first time ever, we people of color have one of our own in power, and he has NO\T abused that power.
